Dreams, Crucibles & Hot Coals – Rainmakers Dinner LA

Our last Tribal Rainmakers dinner (held at the amazing Hatfield’s in Hollywood) was an exceptional one. In the midst of Dave’s latest crucible, we were able to all gather, share and experience the energy of this elite tribe of Rainmakers. Dave started the evening by giving us an update on Harte and everyone offered their kindness, friendship and support, which was genuine and much appreciated. The evening was filled with amazing discussions about light and dark, dreams, crucibles, hot coals and even books.

Light and Dark

Dave began by discussing the idea of light and dark. A great leader should be able to exhibit characteristics of both. Dave introduced the leadership spectrums, which are anchored at one side by a sin and the other side by virtue. Each side has a gift and an ability to expand and to be an effective leader, you want to be able to have the gifts from both sides of the spectrums. Here is a short list of examples that follow the leadership spectrum: The Sexual Spectrum, The Satiability Spectrum, The Velocity Spectrum, The Productivity Spectrum, The Ego Spectrum, The Generosity Spectrum. Each of these were discussed further on last weeks Tribal Rainmakers call. We’d love for you to join us on these calls.

DreamItAlive

A new introduction to CultureSync’s Tribal Rainmakers tribe was Ash Kumra, the Co-Founder of DreamItAlive.com. This was an exciting addition to the group as DreamItAlive is about creating a movement. It is a tool to help visualize what your goals are, gather a like-minded community and features a crowd-funding tool. It is an all-in-one way to make your dreams come true, which is a pretty important tool for any Rainmaker.

#100bookproject

One of the most interactive parts of the evening was when Dave introduced the 100 Book Project. He asked everyone to give the name of a book, but not just any book. This is the book that you only recommend to those who you really trust. The plan is to make this a fun campaign hosted by CultureSync. The group jumpstarted our efforts and we’ve listed their books below. What’s your ONE book? We’d love to add to our reading list! As always, you can sign up for our newsletter to stay in the know.

Being in a room with so many Tribal Leaders, all you hear during silence is buzzing. Electricity filled the room as CultureSync and our guests experienced an evening of great stories and delicious food. I only had space to write about a few of the amazing things that came up during our few hours together. Once again the Tribal Leaders that joined us reminded us of how when put in a room together, magic happens.
